Armita Hosseini is a high school student from Toronto, Canada. As an entrepreneur, writer, and public speaker, she is an active advocate of financial and economic education for youth. In 2020, she published the book Roadmap to Financial Literacy: An Introduction to Personal Finance For Teenagers, and later partnered with the nonprofit organization operationEconomics International to donate 300 copies of her book to underserved schools in San Marcos, California. She is also the founder of EmpowerEcon, an organization educating youth on finance and economics through a series of offerings. Currently lead a team of 25 high school and university students from 15 timezones in areas such as marketing, curriculum design, mentorship, and event planning. Host three-day financial education (x3) and entrepreneurship (x1) camps for over 260 participants from 34 countries across 5 continents. Working on new projects and educational resources to be released. EmpowerEcon has received recognition by Forbes, Better Wealth, Next Gen Personal Finance, and other notable outlets for its impact.

Author, Roadmap to Financial Literacy
Wrote, edited, and graphically designed a 48-page book on the topic of personal finance for teenagers. This book covers the topic of credit cards, loans, saving & investing, and budgeting, and gives a holistic overview of the world of finance teenagers will enter after high school. The process involved self-studying finance, writing numerous drafts, graphically designing the pages and cover on Canva, reaching out to proofreaders to preview the content, and self-publishing via Amazon KDP.
